About The Author

Arthur Newton

Arthur Newton is the author of See You in a Minute,

a deeply personal memoir about love, devotion,

and remembrance.

He writes from lived experience, not literary distance.

His work is grounded in memory, honesty, and

the quiet details that define a shared life.

Why He Wrote See You in a Minute

Arthur began writing See You in a Minute after his wife Nancy’s passing. Near the end of her life, she asked him a simple but devastating question:

“When I am gone, what will you remember?”

The book is his answer.

Rather than writing a traditional memoir, Arthur chose to write directly to Nancy, preserving moments exactly as he remembered them. The result is a book that feels less like a story being told and more like a conversation that continues.

Writing as Remembrance

Arthur spent more than two years writing this memoir. He did not write to explain grief or to offer lessons. He wrote to remember. To honor. To keep his promise.

His voice is unpolished by design. The memories appear as they arrived, sometimes gentle, sometimes painful, always honest. This approach reflects his belief that love is measured not by grand gestures, but by time, presence, and care.
